Two Ways to Get It Done Locally
🏠 Meetup (fastest)
We pick a shopping-center parking lot near you — usually Prosper, Frisco, McKinney, Little Elm, or nearby. Fielding gloves and infielder mitts are typically ready to hand back that same day if you meet up in the morning; catcher's mitts and first base mitts run a bit longer.
📦 UPS Store Drop-Off
Drop your glove off at The UPS Store, 900 S. Preston Rd, Ste 50, Prosper TX 75078 — box 514 (Limit Break Diamond). UPS Store rules require your drop-off to be in a box or padded package — loose gloves get refused. Include a note inside with your name + order number.
How We Break It In
Every glove is broken in on a Mitt Master pneumatic press — the same real mechanical shaping years of catch would do, just done in a few hours on 90 PSI of compressed air driving the ram.
- No steam — steam ruins leather over time, and manufacturer warranties reject it
- No oil bath on new gloves — oil bonds permanently to raw leather and belongs on aged restoration only
- Mechanical pocket forming — targeted pressure in the pocket and heel with break-line assist

Local pricing skips the return-shipping cost, so you save $5 on every level:

Break-In Levels
Standard (~60%) — opens the glove, forms the pocket, breaks the flex points. Ready for practice; the last 40% breaks in naturally over the first weeks of catch.
Game Ready (~85%) — extended session with deeper pocket forming and closure work. Ready to play in for a game right after.
FAQ
Will it void the warranty? Mechanical break-in on the Mitt Master press does not violate manufacturer warranties the way steam or oil bath does. You keep the warranty intact.
How long does it actually take? Fielding gloves 1-3 hours on the press. First base and catcher's mitts run longer. If you meet us in the morning, most gloves are back same day.
